🚌Causeway Link Bus Guide: CW1–CW7 Explained

Causeway Link runs the main scheduled coach network between Singapore and Johor Bahru — a handful of numbered CW routes, each with its own pickup point and its own checkpoint. Mixing up which is which is the easiest way to end up on the wrong side of town.

Via Woodlands Checkpoint

• CW1 — Kranji MRT ↔ JB Custom. The shortest, most direct northern route.
• CW2 — Queen Street Terminal ↔ JB Custom. The route from central Singapore (Bugis area), and the only one of the nine that runs 24 hours.
• CW5 — Newton Circus ↔ JB Custom. A third Woodlands-side option, useful if you're starting further into town.

Via Tuas / Second Link

• CW3 — Jurong Town Hall Bus Interchange ↔ Perling Mall. The main western-Singapore route.
• CW3L — Perling Mall ↔ CIQ (a Tuas-side loop variant of CW3).
• CW4 — Jurong Town Hall Bus Interchange ↔ Terminal Pontian, continuing further into Johor than CW3. Weekdays only (see the table below).
• CW4S — Hab Sutera Mall ↔ Jurong Town Hall Bus Interchange.
• CW6 — Perling Mall ↔ Boon Lay Way Bus Stop.
• CW7 — Opp Tuas Link Station ↔ Terminal Gelang Patah, the westernmost route.

First and last bus, by route

Straight from Causeway Link's own published timing sheet. Every route below runs daily at the same hours except CW4, which only operates Monday–Friday (no service on weekends or Singapore public holidays) — the one real weekday/weekend split in the network. Treat exact minutes as a guide, not a promise: intervals are themselves a range (15–45 min depending on the route) and subject to traffic.

Picking the right one
